Fruits
- Banana Slices
- Ingredients: Bananas, honey dipped, turbinado sugar,
coconut oil, banana flavoring.
- Directions: Eat as a snack or use in your favorite recipes.

- Strawberry Apple Flakes
- Ingredients: Dehydrated apples (treated with sulfur dioxide, sodium dioxide,
sodium sulfite and sodium bifulfite to promote color retention), strawberry solids from
concentrate, artificial strawberry flavor, citric acid, red 40.
- Directions: Can be used as a snack, in pies, toppings, fruit salad, and cereal.
Add to muffins, pancakes, and cooked cereals.
- Net Weight of #10 can: 2.5 lbs.
- Apple Slices
- Ingredients: Low moisture apple slices prepared with sulphur dioxide to prevent
browning.
- Directions: Cover apples with hot water and allow to stand for 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally. If cooked apples are desired, bring apples and water to a
boil. Cook before using. Approximately 1/2 cups apples to 3/4 cup water.

Vegetables
- Creamy Potato Soup
- Ingredients: Dehydrated potatoes, dehydrated onions,
partially hydrogenated canola oil, parsley flakes, wheat flour, corn syrup solids,
hydrolyzed soy wheat protein, chicken fat, sodium cassionate, maltodextrine, mono and
dyglycerides, turmeric, salt, and natural flavoring.
- Directions: Add soup mix to boiling water (Following the
chart below). Lower heat, simmer 30-40 minutes uncovered. For variety add: corn, sausage,
cheddar cheese, broccoli, peas, or clams. Salt and pepper to taste.

Meat Substitutes
from TVP
- Beef VegMeat
- Ingredients: Textured vegetable protein
(soy flour, Carmel color), partially hydrogenated soybean oil, water, salt, natural
flavoring, hydrolyzed corn gluten, soy wheat, gluten protein, autolyzed yeast.
- Directions: Completely cover with water and simmer about 10 minutes to
reconstitute. Use as cooked meat or add to wet dishes that require further cooking.
Each 1 oz serving is equivalent to 3 oz cooked meat. Add beef bullion for flavor if
desired. Use in casseroles, barbecues, soups, stews, etc.
- Beef TVP is certified Kosher.

- Chicken VegMeat
- Ingredients: Textured soy flour, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salt,
autolyzed yeast extract, hydrolyzed corn gluten protein, natural flavorings, thiamine
hydrochloride, disodium gauntlet, disodium isonate.
- Directions: Completely cover with water and simmer about 10 minutes to
reconstitute, or, add 1 parts water to 1 parts TVP per
weight. Use as a cooked meat or add to dishes that require further cooking. Add
chicken bouillon for flavor if desired. Add to casseroles, soups, stews, or just as it is
to salads.
- Each serving is equivalent to 3 oz. cooked meat.

Dairy & Eggs
- Buttermilk Hotcake Mix
- Ingredients: Bleached wheat flour (enriched with niacin, iron, thiamin mono
nitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), whey, dextrose, corn four, soybean oil, leavening
(sodium & calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate), salt, sweet cream buttermilk, egg
yolk solids, sugar.
- Directions:
- Add 2 1/4 cups of mix, 2 cups cold water, 3 tbsp. of oil. Do not over mix.
- Add more water until desired consistency. Note: Water levels may vary
depending upon desired consistency of pancakes.
- preheat oiled skillet or griddle to 375 F. Cook until lightly browned and golden.
- Makes 18, 4" hotcakes.
